We turned up bright and early to watch this at 5:45 PM on the Friday... Unfortunately we were a day early :-) We went Kayaking on the Saturday but still managed to do a quick-change and we made it over to Carrabelle by 6:30.
Taking the photos was another thing altogether.
The boats drive past, and they don't stop... Taking the pictures at night requires the shutter to be open a fair bit longer than daytime pictures. So the early photos came out VERY blurry. After a while I figured out that I had to move the camera in time with the boats as best I could - so that the boat remained in the center of the picture while the shutter stayed open...
