We live in the northern part of Florida so Georgia's our closest neighbour. We made a few trips when we first moved here but other than Atlanta airport, we haven't been anywhere recently.

We stayed at the marina while visiting Providence Canyon. Lovely little State Park and the cabins were a nice cheap way of staying close by. Will be better prepared and take some food next time though... We were out...

Known locally as the Little Grand Canyon, Providence Canyon's well worth the trip. You can take your dog so long as you take a leash and some "bags". It's beautiful, relaxing and it's in Georgia so the weather's usually great.

Our trip to Savannah, Georgia was nice enough but a weekend was probably long enough. It's very pretty and we crammed in as much as we could, it's just a little... not sure what. We were ready to come home at the end of it that's my main memory.

Westville is a pretty cool place for a relaxing afternoon. You can take a step back into history and quickly figure out that although it was year ago they had figured out things that most people today would really struggle with.
