It's been a few years since we'd been on jetskis. In fact this was only the second time since we moved into Magnolia Bay (approx 5 years). But the new skis should change that.
We put in at the Old Ferry Dock Road boat ramp in Eastpoint and headed West towards Blounts Bay to familiarize ourselves with the new machines before heading over to Little St George Island for lunch. The round trip was about 40 miles and that took a smidgeon over half a tank of gas (each). The water near the island was much clearer than we'd expected & got caught out by not having our snorkeling kits with us.
We also got caught out by not having figured out how best to attach the camera - we think we have that sorted for the next trip, we shall see.
